Today our Grade 3 partners came to visit and we read the book A Special Place for Santa. Then, we got to show the Grade 3s our classroom and the different things we can do.

Look at our terrarium! We have plants growing now!

We can match words and make sentences with our magnets.

We can play games with dice.

Look at the drawing of our terrarium and the tally of the class. Which do you think will grow the fastest?
We have been practicing ten frames in many different ways. Like playing this Smartboard game!

Look at us using the netbooks last Friday!

We played various educational games and helped our friends.

Outdoor Christmas Concert

This year the staff and the Catholic School Council are working on an outdoor Christmas Concert scheduled for Thursday, December 12th. We are still in the  planning stages and will require many volunteers to assist in this production. If you are able to volunteer your time, please join us at our next Catholic School Council meeting. In the meantime we are looking for outdoor Christmas tree lights. If you have any old lights that you are thinking of throwing out, please consider donating them to the school. If you don’t have any old ones and would like to purchase a set, that too, would be greatly appreciated. If anyone knows of a company or volunteer that can provide horse drawn sleigh rides for the evening, can you please advise the school. Thanks for your support and we look forward to a  fun-filled old fashioned Christmas Celebration. (taken from the school's November Newsletter)
