Over the last few days I have noticed that several students have been talking about different animals. So, today we talked about what animals can be found at the zoo! We came up with an enormous list (and we could have kept going but ran out of time - so we plan to continue it tomorrow) including some questions we had about these animals. Today we decided to do research on elephants and here was what we found:
- How long is an elephant's trunk? An elephant's trunk can grow to be 2 meters long!
- What do they eat? Elephants are herbivores (which means they eat plants) and they eat roots, grass, leaves, tree branches, fruits, etc.
Katrina was soo excited to come and visit your Blog to see the elephants and is super excited to learn about more Zoo animals today!! :)
