As I am sure you may be aware, the 100th day of school is fast approaching. As an SK class, we have been counting to the 100th day of school by placing a happy face each day in a ten frame. We have explored the the concept that ten groups of ten make 100 and we have also practiced counting to 100 by tens. As a class, we will be celebrating the 100th Day of School on Tuesday, February 11. As a fun way to celebrate this day, students are asked to wear their pajamas and bring their favourite stuffy to school.
We know that the children would love to have their parents attend, however, due to the size of our room, this is not feasible. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
On Tuesday we will be doing several activities exploring the number 100. These will include arts & crafts, math and language activities as well as several games.
Don't forget to check back for pictures from this exciting celebration! (And to continue to check
Mlle T's blog as well.)
